Ernest C. Hardin, Jr., (1916-1986) was born in Wheatcroft, Kentucky. He was Director of Operations, 6th Air Division at MacDill Air Force Base in Florida from 1953 to 1954, and from 1958 to 1960, was Deputy Commander of the Sixteenth Air Force at Torrejon Air Base in Spain. In 1973, he was appointed Deputy Commander in Chief of the Readiness Command at MacDill Air Force Base. He retired from Air Force service in June 1975. Rockly Triantafellu was born in 1917 in Daytona Beach, Florida, and graduated from the Opportunity Business Accounting School and the Duvall Engine Aircraft Engine School in Jacksonville, Florida. He also attended Sacramento State College in Sacramento, California. In 1937, he enlisted in the Florida National Guard and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in December, 1942.
